Great Western Trail Tee

A portion of proceeds from the sale of this tee goes back to Polk County Conservation to assist in preserving and maintaining this trail.
If you have ever been on a bike in or around the Des Moines area, you have likely ridden or at least heard of this trail.
Named for the Chicago Great Western Company, whose trains operated on this line from 1892 to 1968, this 16.5 mile recreational trail begins near Water Works Park in Des Moines and ends in the Warren County town of Martensdale, via a stop in Cumming.
Throughout the week, all year long, you'll find every sort of group and rider taking advantage of this amazing trail, its pitstops along the way, and the beautiful wooded views and wildlife along the route.
