Sycamore Trail Tee

A portion of proceeds from the sale of this tee goes back to Polk County Conservation to assist in preserving and maintaining this trail.

One of the 20 parks and trails that Polk County Conservation helps manage is the Sycamore Trail.

This 6.5 mile trail will take you through some of the most wild areas of the Des Moines metro area. Abundant wildlife and views of the Des Moines River will keep you pedaling to find what’s around the next bend in the trail.
The Sycamore Trail is open to bicycling, hiking and cross-country skiing. And trailheads are located at the east end of the River Place building parking lot on Euclid Ave. in Des Moines and on NW 66th Ave., about 1 mile east of Beaver Ave. in Johnston.
This is one of our favorite singletrack trails in Des Moines. Or jump on the paved trail to the east of the Des Moines River for a flatter ride with the same great views.
